For Hospital Visitors
Off-street parking is available in the hospital parking lot on Jamestown
St. Cost is $3.00 per entry. Complimentary valet parking is available by
dropping vehicle off with valet attendant at main entrance to hospital
at Jamestown St.
Visitors must stop at the Information Desk in the lobby at the Jamestown
Street entrance to receive a visitors pass and the room number of the
patient they have come to visit. Information Desk staff must call the
Geropsychiatric Unit to provide visitor access to that unit. The staff
must also confirm with the designated unit nursing station for all
special visitation requests during non-visiting hours. The Information

Each patient may have two visitors at one time
unless special permission for more than two has been requested from and
approved by the nurse supervisor in advance. Children are permitted to
visit but must remain accompanied by an adult at all times.

Roxborough Memorial Hospital is a smoke-free facility. No smoking is permitted inside any hospital
building.Smoking outdoors on hospital property is permitted only in the designated smoking area
located on the exterior side of the Wolcoff Auditorium facing Jamestown Street.
The hospital cafeteria on the ground
floor is open for service on the following schedule:
Breakfast 6:30 a.m. 9:00 a.m.
Lunch 11:00 a.m.
1:30 p.m.
Dinner 4:00 p.m. 6:00 p.m.
Fixed price dinners for senior citizens are provided every Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
The cafeteria is closed for cleaning from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and
from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily, and from 6:00 p.m. following the
dinner service until 6:00 a.m. the next day. Twenty-four hour vending
machines are located just outside the cafeteria and just inside the
entrance to the Emergency Room.
A 24-hour automatic teller machine is located in the main lobby.
Comfortable waiting areas for visitors are located on each
patient unit. Family members of patients undergoing surgery may wait in
the waiting room on the 4th floor near the surgical suite where the
surgeon will call on them following the procedure. The Same Day Surgery
visitors waiting room is located on the 1st floor near the main lobby.
After a procedure and post-anesthesia recovery, same day patients will
be transported back to the Same Day Unit where those accompanying them
may visit them prior to discharge.
A non-denominational chapel is located
on the 3rd floor of the hospital. All clergy are welcome to visit
members of their congregations who are hospitalized. If your place of
worship does not have a representative assigned to visit patients on a
regular basis, we suggest that you or your loved one notify your clergy
personally to arrange visitation.
