Mr. Donnelly has served the Philadelphia healthcare community in various capacities for the past 35 years, and for the previous 17 years has been chief executive officer of Roxborough Memorial Hospital, a position he will retain.
"Today represents a new beginning for the Roxborough and Warminster communities," said Mr. Souaid. "Both hospitals have tremendous growth potential and we are exploring ways to improve all areas of their operations."
"As someone born and raised here, I'm thrilled about today's announcement," said Mr. Donnelly. "Roxborough Memorial and Warminster Hospitals have always had strong ties to the local communities where they reside, and these relationships will only grow stronger with local ownership."
Solis Healthcare also confirmed today that Katie Farrell will continue to serve as chief executive officer of Warminster Hospital. "I am looking forward to the investment our new partner Solis plans to make in the future of our hospital," said Ms. Farrell.
"We do believe we can make a difference in the way healthcare services are delivered in the communities we serve," concluded Mr. Souaid. "It all comes down to providing great patient care. We want to give our doctors and staff the support they need to do it better than anyone."
