INCOMING STUDENTS

Welcome to our School and to a career in Nursing! We hope you are excited about starting our nursing program.

You have chosen a profession that is exciting and challenging, and our faculty and the hospital community are eager to share in your growth during the next two years.

Please review the following sections and download the required forms where applicable:

Please plan to be here 5 days a week. Clinical days are Tuesday or Wednesday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Term I which starts August 3rd.

A list of your nursing textbooks will be sent to you over the summer. You can order them to be shipped directly to your house. Don't forget that Orientation is Wednesday, June 16^th at 8:30 a.m. and Tuesday & Wednesday, July 27^th & 28^th at 8:30 a.m. All students must attend all sessions. On June 17^th you will sign up for an appointment to have your drug screening here at the hospital.

If you are taking any summer college courses, please send us a copy of your registration form. Please send us an official transcript for any courses taken this Spring semester.

An Anatomy & Physiology Enrichment Program will be offered June 21-25, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Anyone wishing to attend must pre-register with Patti Burke, Director of Recruitment and Admissions, by June 1^st in order to take advantage of this free review. Students whose Anatomy & Physiology course is older than 2 years, or their grades in A&P are lower than B's, are strongly encouraged to attend.
