Roxborough Memorial Hospitals Department of Radiology Expands

Philadelphia, PA -- To accommodate increased demand for imaging services for its patient community, Roxborough Memorial Hospitals Department of Radiology has added a second General Radiology X-ray room and expanded staffing and hours of operation.

We know how busy people are, and we are confident that the addition of the second room and additional hours in certain areas such as Ultrasound and CT Scanning will significantly decrease the waiting time for our outpatient, inpatient and emergency room populations, says Tina Scott, Director of Radiology. General radiology is now available from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 8:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

With General Diagnostic, Ultrasound, Mammography, Dexascan, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiology, we have evolved into a full imaging services department, Ms. Scott added. Our radiologists and technologists are essential members of the health care team at Roxborough Memorial. They pride themselves on service excellence and on positioning patients while producing diagnostic images at the lowest levels of exposure.

The Department of Radiology service hours include:

Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Ultrasound
Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to noon

Nuclear Medicine
Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Mammography
Monday and Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

CT Scan
Monday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Dexascan
Wednesday and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to noon.

MRI
Monday and Wednesday, 6:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Friday, 6:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
